RIYADH, June 14 -- The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) has released its official Hajj 2025 Statistical Bulletin, highlighting the scale of this year's pilgrimage operations. According to the report, 420,070 individuals from public and private sectors - including security forces - were deployed to serve the 1,673,230 pilgrims who performed Hajj this year.

The workforce supporting the pilgrims was overwhelmingly male, with men comprising 92% and women 8%.

Among them were 34,540 volunteers of both genders, who dedicated a remarkable 2.1 million hours of service across the holy sites throughout the pilgrimage.
