Hyderabad, Nov. 17 -- At least 42 Umrah pilgrims from Telangana were killed early Monday when their bus collided with a diesel tanker near Mufrihat in Saudi Arabia. The pilgrims were travelling from Mecca to Madinah when the accident occurred. Initial reports said the impact left multiple passengers dead and several others injured.

Emergency teams and local authorities reached the site and began rescue and relief work. Officials are verifying the total number of casualties and working to identify the victims.
