New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Air services at Indira Gandhi International Airport faced disruption on Monday as weather conditions led to a series of operational setbacks. A total of 128 scheduled operations were called off during the day, while eight aircraft were redirected to other locations. In addition, close to 200 flights reported late departures or arrivals.
Airport authorities confirmed that the suspended operations included an equal number of inbound and outbound services, with 64 on each side. The diversions were carried out after visibility levels dropped below the required limits for safe landings.
