Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday said his government cannot be held responsible for the lack of peace in the J&K.
Speaking to reporters, Omar said that maintaining peace is the responsibility of the authorities tasked with it, not his government, and those responsible should fulfill it.
Responding to a question that LG said peace is lacking in J&K, Omar said that while his government is frequently held responsible for many issues, it cannot be held accountable for the current state of peace, as the authority over maintaining peace does not lie within its domain.
