Srinagar, Oct. 20 -- Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference (JKPC) chairman Sajad Lone on Monday responded to a senior journalist's remarks questioning his handling of the Public Safety Act (PSA) during his tenure as a minister in the former Jammu and Kashmir government.

Writing on X, Lone said he accepts limited responsibility but argued it is unfair to hold him accountable for a law he neither introduced nor had the authority to repeal.

"I accept my role as a minister for 2.5 years. I had minimal influence with only one MLA. That is not enough to change a law like PSA," Lone wrote.
