Jammu, June 9 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today launched a mass distribution drive of aids and appliances for persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) in Jammu, underlining the government's commitment to inclusion and empowerment.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the event was organized by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu, under two centrally sponsored schemes - Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) and Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/Fitting of Aids and Appliances (ADIP).
