Zanskar, Jan. 24 -- In preparation for the upcoming 77th Republic Day, a grand full dress rehearsal was successfully conducted today at the Sports Stadium, Padum.

The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Tehsildar of Zanskar, Mr. Mohd Hassan, who proceeded to take the salute in the presence of various Sub-Divisional level officers and dignitaries.

The event featured a spirited March Past led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Tsering Namgail. The parade saw enthusiastic participation from several contingents, including: Ladakh Police, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Students from various Government, Private Schools and Tuition Centres.
