, Jan. 26 -- On the occasion of 77th Republic Day celebrations at IUST, Vice Chancellor Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo unfurled the National Flag. The ceremony was attended by the employees of the university including Deans of schools, Head of Departments/Centres, Officers of the university besides the security contingent.

Addressing the participants, Prof Romshoo highlighted the importance of the day and said that on this day in 1950, the Constitution came into force and India became a Democratic Republic and by commemorating this day we reaffirm our commitment to the constitutional ideals of equality, fraternity and justice.
