Kulgam, Feb. 18 -- Police in Kulgam have secured conviction of four accused persons namely Mohd Aslam War son of Ghulam Hassan War resident of Arwani Bijebhara, Mehraj-ud-Din Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Nowpora, Kharpora, Waqar Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Yaseen Dar resident of Padshahi Bagh Srinagar and Bilal Ahmad Hanji Son of Mohammad Maqbool Hanji resident of Kharpora by virtue of judgement from Hon'ble Court of the Principal Sessions Judge Kulgam dated 23/01/2025 followed by Quantum of punishment dated 08/02/2025. The above-mentioned accused persons were convicted for the offences under section 8/20, 8/22 read with sec 29 NDPS act in case FIR No 21/2021 of Police Station Yaripora.
