Leh, Oct. 21 -- Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, today conducted an on-site inspection of the 12 MW Solar Power Project at Phey, Leh. This landmark project, being developed by the Ladakh Power Development Department (LPDD), marks a significant milestone in the Union Territory's efforts to harness renewable energy and promote sustainable development across the region.

During the visit, Shri Kavinder Gupta reviewed the technical, operational, and logistical aspects of the solar power plant. Secretary PDD Rudra Goud PT, IAS, Chief Engineer PDD Tsewang Paljor, Superintending Engineer PDD, along with senior officials from LPDD, SECI, and the EPC contractors, accompanied the Lt Governor during the inspection.
