Jammu, May 20 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA), led by its UT President Bhupinder Singh, hashas called for a change in school timings in the winter zones, suggesting an adjustment from 9 AM to 3 PM to better accommodate the needs of students and teachers.

In a statement issued to the Kashmir Media Watch, Moreover, JKTA reaffirmed its commitment to addressing several long pending issues of the employees of Jammu and Kashmir. Among the foremost demands is the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the scrapping of the National Pension System (NPS). The association believes that reinstating the OPS will ensure better financial security for the employees.
