Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- In view of the unfavourable climatic conditions and looming flood threats, the Jammu and Kashmir Association of Rowing and Sculling (JKARS) along with the Jammu and Kashmir Water Sports Kayaking & Canoeing Association (JKWSKCA) have extended their full support to the Union Territory administration.

An urgent meeting was convened with water sports athletes to chalk out strategy and prepare for potential rescue operations. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Burhan Bazaz, President of JKARS, and Mr. Shafqat Watali, President of JKWSKCA, through online mode.
