Srinagar, May 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Bank's SSI branch in Srinagar is facing backlash for its harsh handling of customers.Account holders say the bank is too quick to punish small loan repayment delays, often deducting money from guarantors' accounts without any prior notice as per the RBI guidelines.One customer reported a Rs.3900 laptop loan installment was taken from their guarantor's account, despite the region's unstable conditions.Another one said the customers are frustrated by the lack of communication, with account freezes and deductions happening without prior notice.
