Srinagar, March 20 -- Close on the heels of World Consumer Rights Day on 15th March, J&K Bank has initiated a month-long awareness campaign to educate its customers about their rights and the available grievance redressal mechanisms. The initiative is aligned with the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) directives to enhance public awareness about consumer protection and promote responsible banking.
The campaign emphasizes in detail the key themes of the Charter of Customer Rights issued by the RBI that includes Right to Fair Treatment, Right to Transparency, Fair and Honest Dealing, Right to Suitability, Right to Privacy, and Right to Grievance Redressal and Compensation.
