Kargil, Aug. 8 -- A 50-bed hostel at Government High School Bodhkharboo was inaugurated today, dedicated to the memory of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The facility aims to support students from far-flung areas of Ladakh, providing them with safe accommodation and better access to education.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Director of School Education, UT Ladakh, who served as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Councillor Stakchay Khangral Padma Dorjay, the District Planning Officer (Education Department) Kargil, senior officials, and officers from the Indian Army's 5 Bihar Regiment and 17 Madras Regiment.
