Srinagar, Feb. 21 -- The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for admission to its Open Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning programmes for the January 2026 session up to February 28, 2026, following requests received from students across the country.

The extension is aimed at accommodating prospective learners who were unable to complete their admission formalities within the earlier timeline. Re-registration for the January 2026 session has also been extended till the same date with a late fee of Rs.200.
