Kargil, Jan. 26 -- Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Mohd Feroz unfurled the National Tricolour on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day at the Council Secretariat, Kargil. The event was attended by council staff, officers from the police department, and other officials.

Speaking on the occasion, EC Kacho Mohd Feroz paid rich tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar for his remarkable contribution in drafting the Constitution of India. He said that the Constitution guarantees equal rights and freedoms to every citizen, without any discrimination on the basis of colour, caste, or other social identity markers. He described the Indian Constitution as a unique and comprehensive document that safeguards the rights of every individual.
