Zanskar, Sept. 6 -- Executive Councilor for RDD/PRI and Zanskar Development Authority, LAHDC Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi, chaired a meeting of the Rural Development Department (RDD) at TFC Padum, covering all three blocks of Zanskar.

The review focused on physical and financial progress under various schemes, including District Capex, SDP, State Sector, CCDA, and GIA Panchayat.

Tashi expressed satisfaction with the progress so far, noting 70% financial achievement in the RDD sector. He directed officials to ensure timely payments for completed works and appreciated the efforts of BDOs, AEEs, JEs, and contractors.

The meeting was attended by BDOs from Zanskar, Lungnak, and Karsha, along with engineers from REW Zanskar.
