Kargil, Aug. 1 -- In a significant step towards ensuring the strict enforcement of tobacco control laws, the District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC), Kargil, carried out the official destruction of seized tobacco products today, August 2, 2025, at 11:30 AM. The event took place at the DTCC Office, Old District Hospital, and Kargil.

The enforcement activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Nissa, District Nodal Officer (NTCP), and Mr. Masood Ahmad, District Consultant (NTCP), along with the active participation of the following officials and representatives of the COTPA Enforcement Committee:
