Kargil, June 28 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kargil, Rakesh Kumar - IAS, today chaired a meeting at conference hall Baroo to review and finalize arrangements for the upcoming Muharram commemorations, including the processions on 9th and 10th Muharram.

The meeting was attended by SSP Kargil Shri Ram R, Additional Deputy Commissioner Imteeaz Kacho, Chief Medical Officer Kargil, Executive Engineer PHE, officers from the Food, PDD, Municipal, and Information departments, along with representatives of religious organisations IKMT and Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil. SDMs from Drass, Chiktan, and Zanskar participated virtually.
