Leh, March 24 -- The Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, conducted an inspection of the ongoing developmental works at the Directorate of Economics & Statistics building located at Melongthang, Leh.

During the inspection, Dr. Kotwal visited various units and floors of the building, where officials from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) briefed him on the construction progress. They informed him that the building incorporates geothermal technology for energy efficiency. The Chief Secretary emphasized the need to expedite the remaining work and directed the CPWD officials to ensure timely completion.
