Kargil, July 20 -- Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today conducted an extensive inspection of the ongoing works at the Parkachik-Khaus Irrigation Canal constructed via a tunnel, aimed at enhancing irrigation facilities and ensuring sustainable water management for local agriculture.

During the visit, the CEC personally entered the under-construction tunnel along with the concerned departmental heads. He appreciated the commitment of engineers working on site and encouraged them to maintain high quality standards and expedite the project. The engineering team assured the CEC that the tunnel work is progressing well and will be completed soon.
