Kargil, Jan. 14 -- Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today handed over a Refrigerated Transport Vehicle to M/S Halman Apricot, Kargil at the Council Secretariat, Kargil, sanctioned under the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) scheme.

The refrigerated transport vehicle has been sanctioned by the Horticulture Department, UT Ladakh under the Integrated Post-Harvest Management component of MIDH, with the objective of facilitating private fruit growers and entrepreneurs in the safe and efficient transportation of fresh apricot, apple, and other horticultural produce from UT Ladakh to markets in other States.
