Kargil, Jan. 27 -- The Hon'ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today flagged off the UT Ladakh Under-17 Karate Team (Boys & Girls) for their participation in the 69th National School Games, to be held at Pune, Maharashtra.

The team is being deputed by the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSSO), UT Ladakh. A total of 10 athletes, comprising 4 boys and 6 girls, will represent UT Ladakh in the prestigious national-level championship.
