Kargil, March 1 -- Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today distributed food kits to the stranded drivers at various locations in Kargil.

The initiative specifically targeted truck and Tata Mobile drivers who are stranded at the petrol pump, as well as drivers at Shilikchey and several other locations.

Along with the distribution of food kits, the CEC directed the relevant authorities to make arrangements for temporary accommodation for the stranded drivers.

Additionally, the district administration helpline number was shared to ensure that the drivers have access to further assistance whenever required.
