Kargil, Nov. 5 -- CEC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today attended the celebration of the 556th Prakash Purab (birth anniversary) of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gurudwara Charan Kamal, Kargil. The event was marked by deep devotion, joy, and a spirit of unity among the devotees.

The celebrations began with the recitation of Akhand Path and melodious Kirtan, which filled the Gurudwara Sahib with divine serenity and spiritual warmth. A large gathering comprising the civil sangat and Army sangat participated in the event, offering prayers and reflecting upon the timeless teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Gurus.
