Srinagar, Oct. 22 -- Akashvani Srinagar and Government Degree College (Autonomous), Baramulla, on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing a professional broadcast platform to young media students for showcasing their creative work.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Satish Vimal, Senior Programme Executive, Akashvani Srinagar, and Prof. Muhammad Shafi Lone, Principal of the college, in presence of Waseem Farooq Wani, Programme Officer, Prof. Tariq Chalkoo, senior faculty member, and Dr. Danish Nabi Gadda, Head of the Department of Media Studies.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Satish Vimal said that Akashvani Srinagar has always been at the forefront of promoting young and emerging talent.
