Kargil, Feb. 28 -- Administrator, Municipal Committee of Kargil (MC-Kargil), Imteeaz Kacho, today visited various municipal areas of Kargil and conducted an extensive inspection of the snow clearance measures.

The Administrator visited several key locations including Baroo, Fatima Chowk area, Islamia School Chowk area, Main Market, Lal Chowk, Lchangra Bazaar and toured the river-bank side to take a first-hand stock of the situation and to supervise effective snow clearance operations.

He also intended to ascertain whether public and commuters are facing any inconvenience. The Administrator was accompanied by District Traffic Inspector, Mohammad Nissar, at most locations.
