Srinagar, July 3 -- Police in Shopian solved a livestock theft case and arrested two accused individuals.
A police spokesperson informed that acting on a written complaint from Muhammad Sultan Teli, son of Ghulam Qadir Teli of Batpora, Shopian, about the theft of his cow, police during investigation recovered the stolen cow within hours, and nabbed two accused persons involved in the theft.
They have been identified as Altaf Mushtaq Ganaie (Alsur), son of Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie of Meemander, and Showkat Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Nabi Malik of Arhama Shopian.
Further investigation into the case is going on, police said.
