Srinagar, June 4 -- Reports suggest that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first direct train service to Kashmir on June 06. If it happens, it would be a historic day as Kashmir Valley finally gets connected with rest of the country through railways. People of the Valley have been waiting for this development to take place since ages. While the direct train service from Kashmir would ease the travel to other parts of the country, it will be a big opening for the horticulture sector.
