Srinagar, Sept. 9 -- Kashmir Images family condoles untimely demise

Srinagar/New Delhi: A friend of Kashmir and Kashmir Images, Veteran journalist Sankarshan Thakur, editor of The Telegraph, passed away at a Gurgaon hospital on Monday after prolonged illness. He was 63.

Thakur had a long association with Kashmir and had an army of friends in Kashmir media circles. His analysis and ground reporting was unmatchable and when it came to Kashmir, it was unparalleled.

He had a special relationship with Kashmir Images and would always come forward with suggestions and guidelines.
