Srinagar, Nov. 19 -- A teenage biker from Narbal was critically injured in a road traffic accident at Umarabad on Tuesday evening.

He was brought with multiple injuries to JVC Hospital Bemina, where officials identified him as Faizan Ahmad (15), son of Fayaz Ahmad Tabardar, a native of Narbal. His condition was stated to be critical.

According to the statement of his attendant, the boy was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Punjabi Dhaba at Umarabad.

Police are verifying the circumstances of the accident and efforts are underway to trace the vehicle involved, officials said. (KNT)
