Srinagar, March 9 -- Minister for Agriculture Production, Javed Ahmad Dar on Saturday said the government has no information that a former Sri Lankan cricketer was provided land "free of cost" in the Union Territory to set up an industrial unit and that he would look into it.

The minister made the statement in the Legislative Assembly after CPI (M) legislator M Y Tarigami and Congress legislature party leader G A Mir raised their concerns on the issue during question hour.

"This is a matter related to the revenue department. We do not have any information, and we will look into it to know the facts," he said.
