Srinagar, Feb. 22 -- Charging BJP with adopting deceitful tactics in restoring statehood, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra today said that getting statehood is a genuine demand and a legitimate right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing an impressive rally as part of the ongoing "Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq" campaign, Karra strongly warned against the deliberate delay tactics being employed to deny the people of J&K their legitimate right to statehood.
He asserted that the Congress will not hesitate to take to the streets if the BJP-led Union Government continues to deprive the region of its rightful status.
