Srinagar, March 28 -- Light rain and thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir till evening of Friday, with strong surface winds likely to persist till late afternoon.
Director Meteorological Department Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad as per news agency JKNS said that, Strong gusty winds, Light rain and thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir untill today evening.
Mukhtar said, the surface winds could reach speeds of 60-70 km/h, affecting both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. These conditions may cause temporary disruptions, but weather is expected to improve by late afternoon.
