Srinagar, March 8 -- Police on Friday said that six persons have been booked for "glorifying terrorism on social media" in central Kashmir's Budgam district.
In a statement, a police spokesman said they have taken firm action to prevent the misuse of social media platforms in Budgam.
"Six individuals have been booked for creating fake accounts and sharing content glorifying terrorism that could potentially disturb public peace and incite disruptive activities," he said.
The spokesman said those booked have been identified as Hilal Ahmad Dar, resident of Sholipora; Owais Ahmad Khan of Soibugh Daharmuna; Suhail Ahmad Sheikh of Batpora; Umar Shafi Sofi of Ompora; Mohammad Amir Khan of Ichkoot; and Shahid Mir of Sheikhpora Chatterhama, Budga...
