SRINAGAR, July 1 -- The scheduled power shutdown for the 33 kV Burzhama Tap Line and the 33 kV Pampore-Badamibagh Trunk Line on July 2, 2025, has been cancelled with immediate effect.
According to an official statement, the cancellation comes in response to a request by the Chief Engineer of the Jal Shakti (PHE) Department. The request was made to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical restoration work being undertaken by the department in the aftermath of a breach on the right embankment of the Sindh Power Canal near Malhar Nursery.
