SRINAGAR, May 27 -- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, and Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma, today held a meeting with a delegation from the Traders Federation Pulwama to discuss critical issues affecting the town's infrastructure and economic activity.
The delegation was led by legislators Ghulam Mohidin Mir, Showkat Gania, prominent Traders and members of civil society.
During the meeting, the Federation highlighted the urgent need for rethe vitalisation of the Old General Bus Stand Pulwama. The area, they pointed out, has become a hotspot for illegal encroachments and drug abuse, causing public safety concerns and adversely affecting local businesses.
