SRINAGAR, Dec. 19 -- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Information Technology, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma, today met several deputations at Srinagar and had extensive interaction with them to take stock of their concerns, demands and developmental aspirations.

The deputations highlighted a range of issues related to public service delivery, availability of essential commodities, strengthening of transport infrastructure, improvement in IT-enabled services, promotion of sports activities and welfare measures for youth. Besides, matters concerning local infrastructure, employment opportunities, consumer welfare and effective implementation of government schemes were also raised.
