JAMMU, Dec. 26 -- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports and Science & Technology, Satish Sharma, today attended the inaugural ceremony of the Big Jammu & Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) in Jammu.

The Minister reiterated the present dispensation's commitment towards promoting sports culture and building robust sports infrastructure across the Union Territory.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the present government is placing special emphasis on the development of sports infrastructure and the promotion of sporting activities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
