Jammu, Feb. 4 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Tuesday informed the House that Rs.289.39 crore has been released during the current financial year 2025-26 under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) for urgent flood restoration works across Jammu and Kashmir.

In addition, he said Rs.100 crore-Rs.5 crore for each district-has been released under the Union Territory Capital Expenditure (UT Capex) Budget 2025-26 of the Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (DMRRR) Department under the activity "Flood Relief Measures."
