Srinagar, Feb. 24 -- Retail mutton dealers from Srinagar took to streets here Tuesday, urging the authorities to end 'stalemate' over mutton rates.

They alleged that the rates fixed by the government, is causing them losses.

Scores of retail mutton dealers amid sloganeering assembled at Srinagar's Press Enclave this afternoon and staged a protest demanding an end to the impasse over rates prescribed by the government.

Protesting mutton dealers said the government needs to come clean over mutton rates as the continuous stalemate has caused immense problems for them.
