JAMMU, Dec. 23 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana, today chaired a review meeting at the Civil Secretariat here to assess and address the pressing drinking water-related issues in various localities of Jammu city.

The Minister instructed the concerned officers to formulate both short-term and long-term strategies to ensure that the city's existing and future drinking water requirements are met sustainably. He underscored the importance of providing a regular, adequate and reliable water supply for the public. He directed the officials to respond promptly and effectively to public grievances.
