JAMMU, Dec. 24 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology, Environment & Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today met several deputations and individuals at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, to listen to their concerns and grievances.
MLAs Bashir Ahmad Veeri and Payare Lal Sharma also met the Minister and raised certain developmental issues related to their respective constituencies.
During the interactions, the Minister gave a patient hearing to a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including representatives of the PHE Daily Wagers Union, contractors associated with the Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC) Department, employees of the Social Forestry Department and members of the general public.
