Srinagar, Jan. 14 -- Police in Pulwama have attached a residential property worth lakhs of rupees situated at Karimabad area of Pulwama district.

The attached property comprises a single-storied residential house constructed on land bearing Khasra No. 1735 Min (Abad-i-Deh), Khewat No. 485, Khata No. 992, located at Karimabad, Tehsil Pulwama, belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, resident of Karimabad, Pulwama.

"The property has been found to be illegally acquired through proceeds of narcotics trafficking" and has been seized and attached under Section 68-F(1) read with Chapter-VA of the NDPS Act, 1985, by the Competent Authority vide Order No. 01/2026 dated 13-01-2026.
