Srinagar, Jan. 12 -- The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across parts of Srinagar and Ganderbal districts to facilitate maintenance works on high-tension transmission lines.
According to KPDCL, a shutdown of the 33 kV Alasteng-Zakura and 33 kV Alasteng-Nagbal lines will be observed on January 14, 2026, resulting in the disruption of power supply to Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulab Bagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90 Feet Road, Khalmullah Shuhama, Bakoora, Nagbal, Malshaibagh, Saloora, Gadoora, Fatehpora, Shairpathri, and adjoining areas.
