Ganderbal, Feb. 6 -- Police in Ganderbal have registered a case against the owner of M/S Sheer-i-Kashmir Construction Pvt. Ltd. for allegedly overcharging tourist vehicles in the name of sanitation fees at the SDA Toll Post, Shudkadi, in Sonamarg.
According to officials, FIR No. 02/2026 has been registered at Police Station Sonamarg under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case pertains to the alleged illegal collection of extra charges from tourist vehicles. Further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the full extent of the alleged overcharging.
