Srinagar, Dec. 9 -- Police in Srinagar have initiated legal action against several hotels, a homestay and multiple houseboats for violating mandatory Form-C reporting norms under the Immigration & Foreigners Act.

Five FIRs have been registered across different police stations following routine inspections, officials said.

A police spokesperson said that during routine checking and scrutiny of hotels, homestays and houseboats, multiple establishments were found in violation of Form-C submission rules.
