SRINAGAR, July 30 -- The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) and Jammu & Kashmir Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL) have announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Baramulla and Budgam districts to facilitate essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, a shutdown of the 33KV Baramulla-1st and Baramulla-2nd feeders will be observed on July 31, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM to enable the insertion of a pole at the PHE Drangbal site. As a result, 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Baramulla-1st, Kanlibagh, GMC Baramulla, Baramulla-2nd, Bagh-i-Islam, Drangbal, and Sheeri will remain off during the period.
