JAMMU, Dec. 18 -- A meeting of the Committee on Petitions was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA Pirzada Farooq Shah to review the petitions referred to the Committee.
Legislators, Salman Sagar, Mushtaq Guroo and Vijay Kumar were also present in the meeting.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues related to widespread adulteration of essential food commodities within Jammu & Kashmir besides encroachment and illegal distribution of land in Khimber, Tehsil Hazratbal, Srinagar and action being taken by the concerned authorities as highlighted in the petition.
